This evening my lovely wife Liz was watching the current episode of “Brothers and Sisters” only to find — right there at the 2:18 mark — Rachel Griffiths complaining about not being able to explain Twitter to a very TC50-esque panel of judges at a tech industry tradeshow.
In fact, her starup, Greenatopia, sounds suspiciously like the recently-funded GoodGuide (which actually DID launch at TC50) and/or Greenopia (which roughly bills itself as the Zagat of going green).
I’m very interested to see if we see a reaction to this item pop up on the GoodGuide or Greenopia blogs.
All in all, you can’t buy that kind of publicity, though. 12 million+ viewers are now *really* hoping that Sarah Whedon’s venture gets off the ground, and it’s not at all inconceivable to imagine that more than a little of that fictional good will might rub off in real life.
Also, is anyone keeping a tally of Twitter mentions in mainstream media?
