I Saw The Future Of Social Networking The Other Day
Looks like per Arrington there’s going to be a big leap forward in the near future around location-aware social networks, in this case on the iPhone. Coupled with the work we’re seeing with Magitti, ZoneTag, Zurfer and others, looks like the moment for location-aware services is right around the corner. One of the things that Tom Gruber likes to talk about is “intelligence at the interface” in which “the system knows about us, our information, and our physical environment,” which will characterize the next big wave of technology nnovation. We’re going to see a lot more in this area in 2008.
