Now into the “Marketing2.0” grouping. Keep in mind of course the Goog411 billboards that appeared in the Bay area last week.

Totally different, though. If you’re looking for a plumber, you enter in your zip and need, and here in the demo it simultaneously called 10 plumbers in this case, and then announced what the customer was looking for and prompted the plumber to pick up by pressing “1” to connect to the consumer. The advantage here of course that this gets around several problems with local search, including wrong numbers, and the fact that if you need something fast, not necessarily everyone will answer. 25million calls originating from local searches go unanswered. Very interesting.
