Knowledge sharing models — ours is outdated, where a teacher knows all the content, and the content is more important than the interactions around it. A new approach to how-to videos. Only instructional content, all of the time.

Example of installing crown molding. 19 videos relating to crown molding, they show skill level, etc. You can go right to the part of the video that interests most. You can also take notes during the video to use later. Can also see what the community has written about the video.

Next example, jewelry making. Also helps in creating short, high-impact video and sharing them. Can definitely see this having a big impact in areas like carpentry, scrapbooking, knitting, etc. — those areas where hobbyists won’t be afraid to put in some extra time to engage with the community and share knowledge — these types of hobbies are group and community-based already.
